Lottie studied English Literature at Exeter where she rediscovered a childhood love for dance and exercise. Alongside her degree studies, she achieved a YMCA Exercise to Music Qualification and went on to teach dance and fitness. Realising the impact this exercise was having on her body Lottie looked for an exercise system that would work out the body whilst protecting and re-educating overused muscles. She soon found Pilates and studied Mat Work through beginners and intermediate to advanced level certification; she then embarked on a STOTT REFORMER Instructor qualification.
Lottie has worked with Dressage Riders, Physiotherapsists and Athletes at the peak of their performance, as well as those at the other end of the spectrum, recovering from surgery, injuries, and conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis. In fact, Lottie is now working as a fitness model for Derriere Equestrian and is their fitness guru and guest blogger. Please check out her blogs by following the link:
She is also a Fitness Model for Pilates Mad and Fitta Mamma Clothing and regularly contributes fitness blogs and vlogs.
For Lottie, Pilates is accessible for all, be it by group or individual tuition, what is integral is the approach, and thus the ability to read people's needs sensitively and effectively. Pilates allows individuals to embark on a journey of health and self progression and to gain the power, poise and precision that has become so synonymous to the pilates regime.
We are dedicated to empowering women to love and trust their bodies either through working one on one, in a class environment, at monthly workshops or luxury retreats.
