I was super excited to return home to find my beautiful, pink parcel of Fitta Mamma goodness squished into my teeny letterbox by a very earnest Postie. So thoughts so far... Firstly I'm all over the double layering of the tissue paper, made me feel like it was my birthday all over again, and two tonal pink, hello sisters, attention to detail: RESPECT. The 'don't judge a parcel by its cover' didn't figure at all here, I judged, I opened, I was impressed!
The clothes to the feel are absolutely sublime; regards the top, the material is really thick and supportive and I love the 'stretch-ability' of the fabric between my fingertips, I can't wait to see how it feels during my workouts and if it can withstand the testing I intend to put it through! The slogan made me feel proud and cozy, it was like a warm hug of approval around my belly. I'm doing this for me, and I'm doing this for my baby to be, so to have it said loud and clear makes me feel safe and like I'm doing something good for my 'Urch'. I'm really hoping this will reverse my current mood - feeling like I should be going to some 24 hour gym under the cover of darkness, maybe wearing a balaclava, a couple of bodyguards hovering, to avoid judging looks and cutting comments.
Moving down to the Capri's, they're black, they suck me in and they go up and over this little bump that seems so determined to make an appearance (I love it, I'm starting to feel really pregnant and just got everything crossed this piece of magic wants to hang around). The softness of the fabric is bliss against my sensitive skin and I love the little cuts at the bottom of the fabric so they don't cling like a limpet to my leg thus allowing full freedom of sweaty movement.
The girly pink headband serves to further make me feel part of my new Fitta Mamma gang, and is a super cute way to sweep back my sweaty mop from a rather sweaty little face. (It also doubles up as a sweat towel to the face mid workout if nothing else is to hand)!
Finally, and most importantly I just cannot get enough of the gorg little tags, I'm talking about those wooden beads attached to the clothing denoting the Fitta Mamma logo in a totally unique way. Ladies I have a tip for you, just unclip from the safety pin these beads on a string and you've got a really lovely hair accessory. Check me out with the cute new hair do a la Fitta Mamma tags!
In short, Fitta Mamma, so far you've nailed it... But will the clothes withstand the workouts? Stay posted to find out...
